Our Mission Statement
An entity without a purpose is just taking up space. Quaint But Extra is dedicated to supporting Queer artists from around the globe and engage in Queer fundraising in a number of ways-
- Paying artists cash guarantees for remixes and artwork regardless of “performance” with bonuses if tracks do well
- Supplying gear to independent promoters and artists who need sound systems and DJs for events
- Creating safe spaces for our friends and family so they can let their freak flags fly!
- Educating people on the Black, Brown and Queer roots of Electronic music
Oone of our long term goals is to eventually build a sustainable retreat for Queers of all ages, genders, identities and ethnicities to disconnect from the pressures of modern life. We will focus on restorative practices, reconnection with nature, building community and helping to uplift the overall mental health of those we hold so dear.
